This sketch was based off of manga chapter 58 in Death Note... where L dies.
 I have mixed feelings on this. It made a great sketch, but he's my favorite character and I just drew him having a heart attack. o.0 And this thing took about... 2 1/2 hours. Longer than most of my sketches take. Was it worth the 2 1/2 hours I spent on it? *For those of you who don't know who L is, and who don't read/watch Death Note... he did NOT overdose. The spoon was in that particular picture because he was eating ice cream (or some sort of dessert), not 'cause he was doing meth. I had a few comments about that spoon when I was at school... so that was just an fyi. I give permission for any club to use this deviation; if I did not submit it, please note me to let me know you're using it. |

I'm trying to collect the Death Note manga series in English and Japanese.... I'm only up to book 8 in English and I don't have any Japanese ones yet... ^^
(Mello looks way more feminine in the manga, it's wierd... o.0)
I'm debating trying to draw Near or Mello.... or Matt. Which one?
I don't really like either of them... but the lesser of the two evils would probably be Near... I'll try to sketch him in the next week or two.
Near's less expressive (emotionally) than L... o.0
